Chococurb: A Chocolate Subscription Box

The recent Chococurb box was the best one I’ve received to date with some of the best chocolate I’ve ever tasted.

The Fran’s macadamia gold bar had macadamia nuts and caramel in dark chocolate. It was truly even better than it sounds. One of the best chocolates I’ve ever had…like a fancy Snickers. I can’t emphasize enough how good this was.

This pinot noir salt chocolate had big chunks of pinot noir salt on it. Matt said it was an explosion of flavor and salt…that’s a great way to describe it.

The cinnamon horchata chocolate is very cinnamon-y with a milky horchata flavor and had a Crunch bar texture. Really interesting. Matt tried it too and said he felt like he was relaxing on a beach in Mexico when he ate this ;P

This belize chocolate was just really good deep dark chocolate. Like really intense, bitter, dark chocolate-y goodness with almost a fruity aftertaste.

The Toscano Blond dark chocolate had dried peach and apricot in it, which was interesting. The fruit pieces were crunchy, which I wasn’t expecting.

Our Thoughts

Per usual, this came in a big cooler-like box with a little ice pack to keep the chocolate at the optimal temperature. I really like that because you won’t have to worry about it arriving all melted. I’ve received a number of Chococurb boxes now and they have always arrived in pristine condition!

The best thing about this box (other than getting new upscale chocolate treats every month) is that a little bit of each chocolate goes a long way, so you can just have a little piece and it’s enough to hold you over and fulfill your craving. There’s plenty of chocolate in each box, so you can get more than just one chocolate-eating experience from it. There’s also plenty for sharing.

We had a lot of fun trying this when my mom was over. It comes with a lot of chocolate, so everyone can try everything by breaking off little squares. Everything was out-of-the-ordinary, it wasn’t just your run-of-the-mill chocolate.

This really is a chocolate experience for chocolate connoisseurs. The monthly subscription boxes and online shop offer some really unique chocolate. Everything is also packaged so beautifully. Each piece of chocolate is like a little gift and the monthly box is a big ole’ beautiful present. This is a fun gift to give yourself or any chocoholic in your life…after all, who wouldn’t love receiving a box of chocolates once a month? I’ve reviewed other Chococurb boxes in the past, so make sure to read those reviews too!
