#ProductReview: HA7X Multi-Molecular Hydrator Serum

I received a HA7X Multi-Molecular Hydrator Serum, which is the first U.S. product with Neurophroline.

A multi-dimensional approach to the application of topical hyaluronic and rejuvenating complexes, this first-of-its-kind dermo-biotech serum combines 7 forms of hyaluronic technologies with a new, pioneering molecule from Givaudan(R) Active Beauty (a recent 2016 Gold Award winner), to deliver visible hydration, protection, plumping, smoothing, rejuvenation, and recovery from the skin’s surface down to subcutaneous levels.

HA7X supports the skin’s natural ability to replenish its own scaffolding, tightening and cushioning, and targets the protection of skin from stressors like cortisol, pollution and UV.

HA7X includes 29 of the primary ingredients in award-winning HA5 Rejuvenating Hydrator® by SkinMedica® / Allergan®. But we didn’t stop there: HA7X includes two additional, new hyaluronic technologies (for a total of seven), and the benefits of award-winning Neurophroline ™. Yet with these new actives, HA7X is about half the price as SkinMedica’s version.

About Neurophroline

Winner of the 2016 Gold Award for Best New Ingredient at in-Cosmetics Paris. According to swiss Givaudan SA, its developer, this exclusive extract derived from the tephrosia purpurea plant has demonstrated its unique biological capabilities to:

  • Be the first bioactive cosmetic ingredient able to block the production of cortisol, the major stress hormone.
  • Promote the release of endorphins, a natural calming neuropeptide acting on mood and promoting a sense of well-being and relaxation.
  • Provide fast benefits in only 2 weeks, with a visible reduction of redness (up to 2.4x), a very fast recovery of skin luminosity (+57%), and improvement in global skin color (+99%) after only 28 days.

Environmental pollutants including cigarette smoke, ozone, exhaust fumes and heavy metals generate free radicals that induce oxidative damage and put skin cells in a state of stress. The active Neurophroline ingredient targets these sources and effects, and is shown to have clinical efficacy in reducing the appearance of premature aging caused by environmental pollution.

About RevivSerums

We created Reviv Serums to provide products equivalent to famous physician-office brands so it’s easy to compare, apples-to-apples. We then leapfrog them with brand new cosmetic chemistry, and provide them to you at a competitive price. Along the way, we’ve also developed some truly novel products with breakthrough ingredients and really astonishing results.

My Thoughts

This is one of my favorite serums of all time. That’s partly because it is so unobtrusive, it doesn’t really affect my routine at all. It is unscented and doesn’t have a color. It isn’t sticky or anything; it goes on with a silky texture and a powdery finish, kinda like a good primer. It is very moisturizing and perfect to wear under makeup or any moisturizer, day or night. I leave my face a little wet after cleansing and also wet my fingertips a little bit before applying this because it helps with application.

This is an $89 serum, so it’s pricey, but there’s a lot to it. It offers time-released hydration, so you have 10+ hours of hydration. It combats stress and pollutants, repairs and restructures the skin with deepsea bioactives, plumps the skin and blurs lines (for starters).

You can use this on your face, neck, chest, and hands, and it really does moisturize and soften my skin for hours. I love knowing that it’s constantly fighting daily pollutants and offering anti-aging properties. This promises to plump, hydrate, protect, blur, moisturize, destress, and rejuvenate, which is pretty impressive.

I really enjoy using this because it doesn’t affect my skin or smell like anything, so it’s just a nice, soft moisturizing layer. Both men and women can use this, and I think it works well for all ages. I also recently reviewed the Reviv hair serum, which I also liked. Read the review here!

I received these products complimentary for testing purposes. All opinions are my own. I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
