Bite Beauty’s latest breakthrough formula boasts a collection of beautiful nudes, striking reds, and deep burgundies with a matte yet moist texture. Cava On Its Own

Cava & Red Velvet Together

img_9401-copyimg_9414-copyfullsizerenderThis is a lilac beige color. It is made with 98% natural ingredients. On its own, Cava is WAY too light for me…kinda like a washed out nude. I prefer to wear it along with another color. In fact, it makes every other lipstick that I wear with it look completely different.

My Thoughts

The creamy lip crayons stay on all day and don’t dry out my lips. They also have the usual smell and flavor of Bite lip products, which is kinda orange-y. That’s probably from the orange peel wax and antioxidants, which also helps to protect the lips and seal in moisture. They are formulated without Parabens, Sulfates, and Phthalates, which is a huge plus.

I find that, usually, crayons are much easier to apply. This applies more like a lipstick though, so bleeding and drawing outside of the lines are very real possibilities. So, it’s best to use a lip primer to prep the lips for longer hold and more precise results. The crayons are also pretty thin, so they have a very narrow point, not like the majority of lip crayons I’ve tried in the past, which usually have a stubby top.

These give my lips a matte appearance, but they aren’t drying. They’re also water resistant, which is a nice touch. They have great pigmentation and are hydrating. Per usual, I also like the sleek packaging a lot. If you’re not into lip crayons, I’ve tried a couple of Bite Beauty items in the past and really liked them as well.
